About the israeli attack on Damascus

Collection of tweets regarding the illegal attack carried out by israel on Damascus:

- Syria making israel & the West crazy by spreading true & wrong info. 300 deads, 150 deads…

- Don’t trust a minute that strategic weapons were destroyed by israeli attack. Syria knows zionists too well to have let it happen.

- Of course there are traitors in the Syrian army that sell info to israel. But there are also lots of “fake traitors” selling wrong info.

- Syria always delivered weapons to Hezbollah & Palestine at highest moments of war & israel couldn’t prevent it. israel is weak. So don’t trust a minute that israel could have destroyed strategic weapons and missiles.

You will know when Syria & Hezbollah decide to strike back when you hear israel has vanished from the map.

Syrias retaliation must be carried out at the best moment to make sure to cause major chaos to the zionists. Syria will act in cold blood.

- When israel launched its AIR attack rats on the ground tried to carry out major push inside Damascus. Operation FAILED. Syria

- Don’t think only the west & zionist entity know how to play with info & use it as psychological war weapon. Syria & Iran are great at it

- israeli attack caused major death on CHICKEN population in the farms. No strategic weapon lost. Probably nuclear chicken ?…. (See below video)

Exclusive: Most Prominent Achievements of Syrian Army Obtained Recently

During the last few weeks, the Syrian army attained a great progress in the battlefield and regained many areas, Al-Manar TV correspondent reported.

Aided by the Popular Committees, the Syrian army regained the Prophet Mando strategic hill in Homs countryside, and dominated over the military supply lines that lead to Homs and al-Qussayr on the sides of Tel-Kalkh and Al-Qaa.

Moreover, the Syrian army retrieved tens of villages in Qussayr countryside; the most important are Al-Borhania and Sakarja. Some villages east and west Assi River were also recaptured. Consequently, the Syrian Army tightened its control over the entrances of Qussayr city.

In Homs, the Syrian troops were able to impose control over many regions that were considered militants’ strongholds, restore security in Feraaya, strengthen their deployment in Khaledeya and Baba-Amru, and distance themselves from threats of militant groups.

In Damascus countryside, however, the Syrian troops were able to tighten the ring around the gunmen in east Gouta, severely siege Darya, and restore security in Jdaydet Al-Adem.

The Syria Endgame: Strategic Stage in the Pentagon’s Covert War on Iran

By Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya

Since the kindling of the conflict inside Syria in 2011, it was recognized, by friend and foe alike, that the events in that country were tied to a game plan that ultimately targets Iran, Syria’s number one ally. [1] De-linking Syria from Iran and unhinging the Resistance Bloc that Damascus and Tehran have formed has been one of the objectives of the foreign-supported anti-government militias inside Syria. Such a schism between Damascus and Tehran would change the Middle East’s strategic balance in favour of the US and Israel.

If  this cannot be accomplished, however, then crippling Syria to effectively prevent it from providing Iran any form of diplomatic, political, economic, and military support in the face of common threats has been a primary objective. Preventing any continued cooperation between the two republics has been a strategic goal. This includes preventing the Iran-Iraq-Syria energy terminal from being built and ending the military pact between the two partners.

All Options are Aimed at Neutralizing Syria

Regime change in Damascus is not the only or main way for the US and its allies to prevent Syria from standing with Iran. Destabilizing Syria and neutralizing it as a failed and divided state is the key. Sectarian fighting is not a haphazard outcome of the instability in Syria, but an assisted project that the US and its allies have steadily fomented with a clear intent to balkanize the Syrian Arab Republic. Regionally, Israel above all other states has a major stake in securing this outcome. The Israelis actually have several publicly available documents, including the Yinon Plan, which outline that the destruction of Syria into a series of smaller sectarian states is one of their strategic objectives. So do American military planners. Continue reading

Breaking: New plans to invade Syria

France, the United Kingdom, Israel and Qatar have prepared yet another plan intervention in Syria. 6000 new jihadists, including 4000 from Lebanon, should attack shortly Mazzeh residential area, south of Damascus, home to many embassies and where several top military and civilian officials. An incident involving chemical weapons across the country should increase the tension. A traitorous general would then claim to have seized power and Westerners call for help, thus providing a pretext for military intervention outside the UN mandate.

Several attempts at military coup was orchestrated by the West during this year. All have failed and there is nothing to suggest that this would be different again.

Time is running out for states opposed to the Geneva peace plan reached between the U.S. and Russia, as it should be presented to the Security Council in February, which is just after the confirmation by the U.S. Senate of the new Obama administration. During the next two months, all possible moves will be tempted.

It is unclear what would be the reaction of Russia and Iran for such an operation. Vladimir Putin said to be ready to defend Syria “to the streets of Moscow,” that is to say, be ready to go to war. For its part, Iran has always affirmed that Syria was his defense and, therefore, she would not let go. All these statements may be a bluff, but triggering a military intervention, Paris, London, Tel Aviv and Doha take the risk of causing a general conflagration.

Orthodox Priest Kidnapped and Executed by US-NATO Sponsored Rebels

Damascus (Agenzia Fides) – The body of the greek orthodox priest Fr. Fadi Jamil Haddad, pastor of the church of St. Elias in Qatana, was found today in the Jaramana neighborhood (north of Damascus) not far from the place where he was kidnapped, on October 19, by unidentified armed group (see Fides 24/10/2012). This was confirmed to Fides by Fr. Haddad’s greek-orthodox confrere, who asked for anonymity. “His body was horribly tortured and his eyes gouged out,” he told Fides. “It is a purely terrorist act. Fr. Haddad is a martyr of our church. ”

With regards to the responsibilities of the terrible act there is an ongoing rebound of responsibilities between the opposition forces and government authorities, that accuse the armed gangs of armed rebellion in the army. According to Fides sources, the kidnappers had asked the priest’s family and his church a ransom of 50 million Syrian pounds (over 550 thousand euro). It was, however, impossible to find the money and meet this exorbitant demand. A source of Fides condemns “the terrible practice, present for months in this dirty war, of kidnapping and then killing innocent civilians.”

Among the various Christian communities in Syria, the greek orthodox is the largest (with about 500 thousand faithful) and is concentrated mainly in the western part of the country and in Damascus.

Smoke rose above what were believed to be twin car bomb explosions in front of a police station, witnesses said. Other reports suggest it was a taxi rigged with explosives.

Ambulances were seen rushing to the scene as police shut access to the area, Twitter user NMSyria reports.

At least 13 people were killed by the blast, SANA reported citing sources in the Interior Ministry. But given that the area is usually crowded, there are fears the death toll could be much higher. It is also unclear whether any police staff are among those dead or injured.

Several cars were burnt in the blast and houses sustained extensive damage. The area was busy at the time of the explosion, with people returning from Sunday prayers. Bab Touma is a predominantly Christian neighborhood. It is also a popular shopping place in Damascus.

Two more bombings were reported to have occurred in Syria on Sunday. An explosive device, planted “by terrorists”, detonated on a road in the capital’s neighborhood, injuring several passers-by. A suicide bomber blew up his car outside a Syrian-French Hospital in the besieged city of Aleppo. The latter instance resulted in material damage only, SANA said.

Meanwhile, the UN and Arab League peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi is in Damascus for talks. On Sunday he met with President Bashar al-Assad in a bid to arrange ceasefire for the period of the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha, taking place next week.

“I appeal to everyone to take a unilateral decision to cease hostilities on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and that this truce be respected from today or tomorrow,” Brahimi told reporters in Damascus after meeting with Assad.

Fars-News Agency

The Syrian Army forces discovered and seized a large cache of US-made weapons in Damascus after heavy clashes with armed groups, which led to the killing of over 100 terrorists.

According to FNA dispatches from Syria, 100 terrorists were killed in heavy clashes with the Syrian security forces in Qoutah Sharqiyah district in the capital.
