Eutelsat’s Zionist boss continues war on media freedom

Michel de Rosen, Zionist owner of Eutelsat (file photo)

The European satellite provider Eutelsat, owned by the Zionist Michel de Rosen, has ordered Nilesat to pull the plug on Iran’s English-language news channel, Press TV, as part of his war on freedom of speech.

Eutelsat’s secretary Edoudardo Silverio has written a letter to Nilesat authorities, demanding them to stop broadcasting Iranian channels, including Press TV.

“We hereby officially request again that you discontinue the broadcast of these IRIB [Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting] channels within 48 hours of your receipt of this letter,” read the letter dated February 18.

The letter came in response to Nilesat’s refusal to pull the plug on Press TV.

In December 2012, a US intelligence analyst said the French-based satellite provider Eutelsat SA is a company whose agenda has been long dictated to it by Israeli extremist groups.

“Eutelsat is a person, not a company. Eutelsat says it is European, but it is actually Israeli. French sounding ‘Michel de Rosen’, an Israeli citizen, runs Eutelsat company with Israeli stockholders; a company long dictated to by extremist groups within Israel, the militant ultra-nationalists of the Likudist regime of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu,” Gordon Duff told Press TV at that time.

Eutelsat SA ordered media services company, Arqiva, on October 15, 2012, to stop the broadcast of several Iranian satellite channels, including Press TV.

The company’s only press release stated that the decision was based on reinforced European Union Council sanctions and a confirmation by France’s broadcasting authority, but an EU spokesperson told Press TV that the sanctions contain no such orders. Continue reading

Iran Confirms Assassination of Official by Terrorists in Syria

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian mission in Beirut on Thursday confirmed the assassination of Hassan Shateri, the head of the Iranian delegation in charge of developmental projects in Lebanon, by the terrorist groups in Syria.

The embassy said in a statement that Hassan Shateri was assassinated by terrorist groups in Syria while he was on his way back to Lebanon from the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Martyr Shateri who was in Aleppo to implement reconstruction and development projects in that city, was assassinated by Syrian terrorists while he was on his way to the Damascus airport to return to Lebanon, the Islamic republic news agency reported.

The Iranian development delegation headed by Martyr Shateri played a major role in reconstructing southern Lebanon after the Zionist regime’s 33-day war against the country in 2006.

Martyr Shateri was highly respected by the Lebanese people and officials.

The Lebanese newspaper al-Safir reported on Thursday that martyr Shateri was in Aleppo to study some reconstruction projects in parts of the Syrian city.

A ceremony is to be held for martyr Shateri in Iran’s Embassy in Beirut later on Thursday.

The Story of Gwenyth Todd, Editorial Board Member, Veterans Today

Press TV’s documentary program “Untold Truths” reveals documentary film about the life and experiences of former White House Middle East policy adviser, Gwenyth Todd, who has escaped to Australia to keep safe from FBI prosecution.

This documentary speaks for itself.

Part 2

Veterans Today ran a series of articles on Gwenth’s story last summer when her lawyers finally came around to understanding that if she got her story out there would no longer be a reason to kill her so she could not. This sometimes takes a little time to sink in.

Syria enemies have no option but to leave: Iran cmdr.

Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri (file photo)

A deputy chief of staff of Iran’s Armed Forces says enemies of Syria have no option but to leave the crisis-stricken country.

“The fourth victory of [Islamic] resistance against arrogant and reactionary [governments] in the region has been achieved in the region and Syria will force its enemies to flee the country,” Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said on Monday.

Noting that the Islamic Republic will never allow the anti-Israel resistance movement to be weakened, Jazayeri said, “Countries depending on the United States should know that they would never be able to force the resistance to back down through terrorism and military actions.”

Jazayeri also stated that the usurper Zionist regime would have no way but to leave the occupied Palestinian territories.

“The final goal of enmity to Syrian government and nation, [Lebanon’s] Hezbollah and Palestine, is to break the [existing] siege of Israel,” he added.

Jazayeri warned that the US and Europe would not be immune to future damages which would be inflicted on them by “well-equipped and aimless terrorists.”

Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of security personnel, have been killed in the violence.  Continue reading
