“They (the Israelis) kill children, women and the elderly people and unfortunately do no allow us to help them,” President Rouhani said on Tuesday.
He noted that Iran is ready to send medicine and medical teams to Gaza to treat the wounded people, and said, “We are ready to accept the injured Palestinians in Iranian hospitals.”
On Tuesday, a large number of Iranian students and teachers joined a rally in front of the UN mission in Tehran to extend their full support for the Palestinians who have been under Israeli attacks for 16 consecutive days.
The marchers chanted “Down with israel”, as they were categorically condemning murder of Palestinian student Mohammad Abu Khadir.
The protesters also blasted silence of other countries on killing of innocent Palestinians, and called for Muslims’ unity to confront Israeli crimes.
“The Zionist occupying regime once again confirmed its barbarous nature with cruel killing of defenseless Gazans, especially women and children,” the protesters said in a statement.
Israel has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for 16 consecutive days, killing at least 670 people and injuring more than 3,700 others.

Reply to send to all ignorants sending us emails asking to sign petitions made by former israelí soldiers or israelí citizens ‘asking to their government to stop bombing Gaza’
Screw all israelís. All of them with no exception.
The simple fact of living in israHell makes them all complicit of the killing of Palestinians.
What do they think ? How did they get the land ? By offering roses ? Or by ethnically cleansing Palestine ?
So, coming with those petitions won’t redeem all their past crimes.
If they want redemption, they should all leave the stolen lands. And go back to where they come from which is in majority eastern Europe. They’re not even semites. They’re descendants of the savage Khazars who converted to Judaism for political reasons. ( read the 13th tribe by Arthur koestler and The Invention of the Jewish people by Shlomo Sand). They keep saying they’re going back to the holy land when they ain’t coming from it.
And if they don’t leave, be sure Resistance will kick em out with a one way ticket to HELL ! Coz that’s where they belong.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is lying about Tehran’s nuclear program.
“We’ve seen nothing but lies from Netanyahu which are meant to deceive the global public opinion,” he told reporters in New York on Monday.
“For 22 years the Zionist regime (Israel) has been claiming that Iran will have a nuclear bomb within six months. After all this time the world should realize that these are lies.”
Iran’s foreign minister is currently in New York for the annual session of the UN General Assembly.
Zarif also described Netanyahu as the most isolated political figure in the United Nations.
“We must not allow those who have slaughtered the Palestinian nation over the past 60 years, and their atomic weapons pose a threat to the region and the world, to blackmail the international community in the name of disarmament and human rights,” the Iranian diplomat said.
He added that Israel must not get a chance to insult the world public intelligence and carry out its inhumane policies.
Zarif emphasized that Iran will not allow warmongering groups to use trumped-up charges to pursue their heinous objectives.
Syria President Bashar Assad says Israel should be the first to disarm from weapons of mass destructions, since it has nuclear, biological and chemical arms.
He added on Thursday that that all countries in the Mideast should be held to international protocol in order to achieve stability in the region.
Syria decided to cede control of its chemical weapons because of a Russian proposal and not the threat of US military intervention, Interfax news agency quoted President Bashar Assad as saying in an interview with Russia’s state-run Rossiya-24 channel.
“Syria is placing its chemical weapons under international control because of Russia. The US threats did not influence the decision,” he said.
Assad also told Rossiya-24 that Syria would submit documents to the United Nations for an agreement governing the handover of its chemical arsenal.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the initiative will not succeed unless Washington abandons plans for potential air strikes on Syria on the pretext of an alleged Aug. 21 poison gas attack which US President Barack Obama blames on Syrian government forces.
Syria has denied any involvement in the attack, but agreed to Moscow’s proposal that it give up its chemical weapons stocks

On Thursday, Syrian forces liberated the Quneitra Crossing – situated between Syria and the Golan Heights – after heavy clashes with anti-government gunmen.
Earlier in the day, israeli media reported that foreign-backed militants had seized the crossing.
Meanwhile, Austria has announced that it will withdraw its peacekeepers from the UN monitoring force on the Golan Heights in wake of ongoing battles in the area.
Austrians account for about 380 of the 1,000-strong United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), and their departure will deal a serious blow to the mission.
israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria during the Six-Day War of 1967, when it also took control of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
It annexed the Golan Heights in 1981, although the move was never recognized by the international community and was a violation of international law.
The israeli regime has used various means to help the foreign-sponsored militants in Syria, including the provision of medical assistance.
Also on Thursday, the Syrian troops recaptured the town of al-Daba’a. This came after the Army liberated the strategic town of Qusayr on Wednesday following three weeks of fighting with the militants.
Syria has been gripped by a deadly unrest since March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of government forces, have been killed in the violence.
Damascus says the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants are foreign nationals.
