President Assad: Syrian Crisis in Turning Point Due to Army’s Achievements

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stressed that the current crisis in his country is passing through a turning point on the military side due to the continuous achievements of the army in the war against terrorism.

In a meeting with the teaching staff and post-graduate students at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Damascus, Assad warned that the intellectual war is one of the gravest aspects of the colonial aggression targeting Syria.

“Intellectual war and attempts to abolish or replace identity are one of the gravest aspects of the colonial aggression targeting Syria,” official news agency, SANA, quoted President Assad as saying.

The Arab region is originally based on an ideology of correlation between Arabism and Islam, the President said, “which makes adherence to this principle one of the most important factors for restoring intellectual and social security to Arab societies.”

The West has sought to abolish this ideology so as to dominate the region and the role of Arab countries. Having failed to do so, the Syrian leadert said, the West turned to play on concepts to alter the essence of the ideology.

President Assad here noted that intellectuals and academics have a role to look into concepts and furnish them with clear-cut meanings to confront attempts aimed at voiding ideologies of their content.

Syria is targeted, not only for its weighty geopolitical position, but also for its pivotal role in the region and the sway it has on the Arab street, the President said.

Annan: Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey supplied Syrian opposition with money and arms

Vienna, (SANA) Former UN Secretary General and former international envoy to Syria Kofi Annan said Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have supplied the “Syrian opposition” with money and arms.

In an interview with the Austrian Die Presse newspaper, Annan noted that some regional and Western countries rejected the six-point plan which he presented for solving the crisis in Syria because they had differences with the Syrian leadership or with Iran, Russia and China, adding that those countries then formed the so-called “Friends of Syria” group.

He reiterated the need to solve the crisis in Syria by peaceful and political means, expressing his opposition to any form of military intervention.

Annan, who was appointed as UN Special Envoy to Syria in February 2012, highlighted that the Syrian government showed positive reaction to his efforts early in his mission with regard to declaring a limited ceasefire while the other parties rejected that step.

The former international envoy stressed that Iran must be part of the solution in Syria given its great capabilities that allow it to exert an influence in the region and play an objective role to end the crisis, pointing out that Saudi Arabia opposed any Iranian role as it views Tehran as a rival in the regional and international arena.

Annan underscored that what made the US President Barack Obama hesitant to launch any military action against Syria despite pressure by the Pentagon and the US’s Western and Gulf allies was because of the fact that the situation in Syria is totally different from Libya or any other country given its sensitive geopolitical position.

He said that belief matched his visions to end the crisis in Syria peacefully when he told everybody that there could not be a military solution to the “conflict” in Syria, adding that no full agreement on his proposals was reached at the UN Security Council, “and that was why I had to quit my mission as an international envoy to Syria”.

Annan quit his position as an envoy and informed the UN of his intention not to renew his mission, which lasted until August 31 of 2012.

Annan expressed regret that Austria withdrew its forces from the UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the occupied Syrian Golan, considering that the withdrawal of some Western states’ forces from Golan reflects these countries’ lack of desire and indifference to solve the crisis in Syria.

Hezbollah guns down 32 al-Nusra terrorists in Lebanon

image

Hezbollah resistance movement fighters have ambushed al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front terrorists in east Lebanon over the weekend killing at least 32 of the terrorists, a senior security source told.

The source added that a member of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement was also killed.

Hezbollah fighters lay the ambush early on Saturday, the source said adding that the bodies of the slain al-Nusra Front terrorists were in Hezbollah fighters’ possession.

Another Hezbollah member was wounded in the clashes that followed the ambush.

Fighting erupted between the Hezbollah fighters and al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front terrorists in Wadi al-Jamala, on the outskirts of Nahle, a rugged mountainous area along the porous border between Lebanon and Syria.

Earlier, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah says Syria is the pillar of resistance, and the Lebanese resistance movement will stay in the crisis-hit country as long as necessary.

Nasrallah made the remarks in a speech in southern Beirut on Thursday, that marks the occasion of Ashura.

In June, Syrian troops, backed by Hezbollah fighters, fought the foreign-backed militants in Qusayr and regained the strategic town, which borders Lebanon.

THE QUENELLE : THE NEW SIGN OF RESISTANCE

20131128-083421.jpg
We make a quenelle action.
Send me your resistance sign as you take pictures next to any representative of the regime or before its institutions.

Parsifal, November 15, 2013 – lovingenergies

For the connoisseurs of French cuisine, the word ‘Quenelle’ is known.

It is a dish made from minced fish, chicken or meat cooked in water in the form of an oval dumpling.

In fact, the French word derived from the (German) word dumplings.

This article is not about the ‘haute cuisine’ but the explanation why the word ‘Quenelle’ has got a different meaning in France.

It is the expression for ‘f**k you’ or ‘Stick it in your ass’.

Sounds vulgar but is meant as an expression of protest against the elite.

There is also a hand sign and this could become a worldwide symbol of the uprising.

France risks ‘social explosion’ over high taxes

20131128-234046.jpg

The Quenelle is shown in which you stretch your arm straight down indicating with the other one as the measure of the length.

The higher the hand, the longer the measure, the stronger is the symbolic expression of protest.

20131128-083526.jpg

This new meaning has invented the popular French comedian originally from Cameroon Donne Dieudonné or ‘Dieudo’ as he is known in France.

Meanwhile, the character has become very popular with the French, and is exploited ubiquitously is used for ‘f**k the system’, ‘the state can kiss my ass’ or ‘plug it in your ass, Mr. President’.

20131128-083553.jpg

The symbolism has become so popular, the French regime of Hollande is panicking and has taken measures to suppress the symbolism and even prohibit.

The gesture is treated in their eyes as the Hitler salute.

Nevertheless, it is shown at every opportunity.

20131128-091046.jpg

For example, when the French interior minister and upper Zionist Manuel Valls allowed to take a picture with a group of young people.

Unbeknownst to him, the teenagers showed the Quenelle and so what they think of him.

20131128-091125.jpg
This photo with the grinning and unsuspecting Valls in the middle, brought laughter to the whole of France and made the protest sign even more popular.

It has become a sport in France, to approach known politicians to stand next to them, show the Quenelle and to be photographed.

20131128-091158.jpg

Especially the young French show the quenelle at every opportunity, especially when they are photographed next to the officials of the dictatorship.

The photos will then land on the Internet as an expression of protest.

20131128-091228.jpg

We know that France is under the total control of the global financial elite and the population is completely robbed of them.

The Quenelle is mainly directed against the Globalized Banking Industrial Complex.

Therefore, the organization against racism and anti-Semitism has described the Quenelle as ‘reverse Nazi greeting’.

Really, they did.

20131128-091305.jpg

Therefore clearly has crooked-laughed the whole French Internet community.

The regime is not amused and reacted with paranoia, as you would expect from a dictator like Stalin.

They have started a witch hunt and search for hidden ‘quenelles’ everywhere.

If the gesture is detected, especially among civil servants, police or military, then they will be punished.

Quenelle Campaign

Of course, this persecution has triggered a flood of photos on the Internet with people showing the Quenelle as resistance to the regime.

Dieudo‘, the inventor of the quenelles, was of course banned from all public appearances on French television and is heavily censored, pelted with mud and slandered.

But his stage performances as a comedian are more popular than ever and he has invited uniformed official in his theatre in Paris, so they perform with him together the quenelle.

The photos are published On his website.

Policemen show what they think of the government

We’re now in a frustrating situation, how can we make a ‘regime change in this so-called democracy (laughing), which is completely corrupted, controlled and paid by the moneyed elite and the corporations ?

The ‘Classe politique’ for long not represents our interests.
Millions of people in all Western industrialized countries are totally disgusted with the encrusted power structure because they see no realistic way to change something.
It remains only scorn and derision left.

20131128-232141.jpg

The only ones who are still ‘listening’ (laughing) are the SS, the Secret Services by their mass spying and eavesdropping of all our communications.

Hello slouch hats read along now:
What are you !
Sausages with small cocks !
Shame on you, you traitors to humanity.
How can you have such a crap job ?

We make a quenelle action.

Send me your resistance sign as you take pictures next to any representative of the regime or before its institutions.

Maybe we should take this new protest gesture outside France, because somehow we have to express the resistance of public and ourselves recognize mutually.

Monsieur Dieudo shows the Quenelle, stick it up until here, as a protest against the system.

‘Saudi claims, sign of political failure’

image

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says the Saudi Arabia’s claims over the presence of Iranian and Hezbollah troops in Syria is a clear sign of Riyadh’s failed policies in Syria scenario.

“Saudi Arabia claims that Hezbollah and the Iranian troops have occupied Syria. This is while the number of these troops in Syria are few in number and they have been present in Syria since 1982 and these ‘few dozens’ could not be able to occupy Syria,” Nasrallah said in a televised speech.

Nasrallah has also strongly denied the Lebanese resistance group had received chemical weapons from Syria.

“This accusation is truly laughable,” Nasrallah said in a televised speech. “We understand the dimensions and background of these accusations, and these have dangerous consequences for Lebanon.”

“We decisively and conclusively deny these accusations which have absolutely no basis in truth,” he added.

“The U.S. defense secretary warned that chemical weapons might be transferred to Hezbollah and on the next day the Syrian Coalition claimed that the Syrian government has delivered chemical arms to Hezbollah and some “smart” officials claimed that we have received a ton of chemical agents and this is a laughable accusation,” Nasrallah said.

Members of so-called opposition group of Syrian National Coalition had allegedly accused Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government of transferring chemical weapons to Hezbollah to escape inspection.

A U.S.-led plan to hit targets in Syria over Damascus’s alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians was put on hold earlier this month after Damascus agreed to a Russian-U.S. deal to destroy its chemical arms stockpile.

Referring to recent bomb blasts in southern Beirut, Nasrallah said foreign backed militants in Syria were behind Beirut bombings in which at least 27 people killed on August 15 and more than 50 wounded on July 9.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah hailed army deployment in Beirut bastion and urged local residents to cooperate.

Army troops and security forces began entering the area in the afternoon, taking over checkpoints set up by Hezbollah resistance group after two car bombings in the southern suburbs.

“We welcome this step and greatly appreciate this national decision taken by state officials,” Nasrallah said.

“We hope that the state and its official carry out their national and legal duties towards all of Lebanon’s regions,” he added.

He called on residents of the group’s stronghold, and those passing through it, to show “cooperation and respect” for the security forces and their measures.

“All the details were passed on to the relevant state authorities, which must take the necessary measures, especially against the culprits who are inside Lebanon,” Nasrallah added.

Following the bombings, around 1,200 Lebanese troops and security forces began deploying on Monday in the mainly Shiite southern suburbs.
