The majority of voters said “NO”, although Russia did abandon Libya and left it defenseless for the Western imperialists to plunder. 61% of the voters said “NO”, Russia will not abandon Syria, and 25% said “YES”, Russia will abandon Syria like she abandoned Libya. At this moment of time, people’s beliefs revolve around the evolving situation, Russia and China has used their veto power for the first time, but they refused to use the same veto against similar resolutions which were used to justify the assault against Libya.

14% of voters said they were unsure whether Russia will abandon Syria or not, this once again reflects the lack of trust people have towards the Russian government after their failure to veto a resolution which basically signaled to the imperialists that they can freely plunder Libya.
