Misleading Sides Fabricate Spoof Email in the Name of SANA, Circulate Baseless News on Deposing Vice-President Shara

In the framework of the media war launched against Syria, misleading sides have created a spoof email address named (email@example.com) via which they circulated baseless and untrue news on the issuance of a presidential decree stipulating for deposing Vice-President Farouq al-Sharaa after he went out of the country.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) stresses that this email is fabricated, and it does not belong to the agency.
SANA also warns of exploiting its website’s emails and calls on all media outlets to inform the agency of any emails sent in its name.
SANA emphasizes that it does not send news via its emails as it has a website for its news which is mainly accredited for its news bulletin, in addition to the news items posted on its website.
Earlier this month, SANA learned from some its sources that the opposition groups abroad would use the email of a number of official institutions, particularly SANA agency, to address ministries, important personalities and media outlets and broadcast fake emails via the email addresses of these institutions.
