Bloomberg ici en video ou encore ZH ici: “This move is looking to be largely based on institutional liquidation in Asia where Japanese bonds are being sold”.

PS: Très juste ce commentaire de Spitzer: “It is Confidence in the FUTURE price of PAPER GOLD that is collapsing. What players in that game equate physical metal with that paper is now irrelevant, as it is the confidence in the futures market that is collapsing. Because of systemic interdependence, we could have a related derivatives failure of epic proportions if the trend continues (I say related because the current gold market is the epic derivatives market that Freegold hinges upon). When COMEX defaults thous who deal in derivatives (paper gold) will be paid in derivatives (currencies, i.e. “paper gold”).

But with the massive positions of the bullion banks in FRAs (interest rate derivatives) a bond market collapse or an interest rate derivative collapse could be interconnected to the current gold market collapse.”

US, allies set to launch anti-mine naval exercises in Persian Gulf

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The United States and more than two dozen allies are gearing up for the largest naval exercise ever in the Middle East focused on countering the threat of anti-ship mines. A wary Iran says it will be watching closely.

The maneuvers starting next week are the latest flexing of American military muscle in and around the Persian Gulf, even as Washington tries to convince ally Israel that diplomacy and sanctions aimed at pressuring Iran to scale back its nuclear program need more time to work.

U.S. Navy officials insist that the anti-mine exercise is not about any specific country or a response to Iranian threats to shut the narrow Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Gulf, the route for one-fifth of the world’s oil.

But the drills will likely be perceived around the world as a challenge to Tehran, which has thousands of anti-ship mines it could deploy to disrupt shipping and drive up oil prices in response to any airstrike on its uranium enrichment facilities. The U.S. and several of its allies accuse Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, but Iran says its atomic program is solely for peaceful purposes.

‘‘This is one of many engagements conducted alongside regional defense forces,’’ said Lt. Greg Raelson, a spokesman for the Navy’s 5th Fleet. ‘‘Freedom of navigation through international waterways is critical to the international community and to nations in the region, including Iran.’’

The exercises, which will focus on a hypothetical extremist organization, are a way to boost cooperation with foreign navies and prepare to deal with threats that could block vital trade routes at sea, American officials say.

Raelson noted that waterborne bombs have struck a number of ships in the region in recent years, including a mysterious blast that damaged the Japanese oil tanker M. Star as it entered the Strait of Hormuz in 2010. An obscure al-Qaida-linked group later claimed responsibility for that attack.

Even so, the maneuvers carry an implicit message for Tehran.

Fukushima Cover Up: Worldwide Governments Raise “Safe” Radiation Levels: ‘If you smile, the radiations will not affect You’

Governments Worldwide Raise Acceptable Radiation Levels Based Upon Politics … Not Science

By Washington’s Blog

Instead of Protecting People, Governments Cover Up by Raising “Safe” Radiation Levels

American and Canadian authorities have virtually stopped monitoring airborne radiation.

Neither American nor Canadian authorities are testing fish for radioactivity.

Does that mean that we don’t have to worry about radiation from Fukushima?

It is a little hard to know, given that what is deemed a “safe level” of radiation is determined by politics … rather than science. For example, current safety standards are based on the ridiculous assumption that everyone exposed is a healthy man in his 20s – and that radioactive particles ingested into the body cause no more damage than radiation hitting the outside of the body.

And one of the main advisors to the Japanese government on Fukushima announced:

“If you smile, the radiation will not affect you.”
Here’s the video:

In the real world, however, even low doses of radiation can cause cancer. Moreover, small particles of radiation – called “internal emitters” – which get inside the body are much more dangerous than general exposures to radiation. See this and this. And radiation affects small children much more than full-grown adults.

Indeed, instead of doing much to try to protect their citizens from Fukushima, Japan, the U.S. and the EU all just raised the radiation levels they deem “safe”.

Nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen says that high-level friends in the State Department told him that Hillary Clinton signed a pact with her counterpart in Japan agreeing that the U.S. will continue buying seafood from Japan, despite that food not being tested for radioactive materials.

And the Department of Energy is trying to replace the scientifically accepted model of the dangers of low dose radiation based on voodoo science. Specifically, DOE’s Lawrence Berkeley Labs used a mutant line of human cells in a petri dish which was able to repair damage from low doses of radiation, and extrapolated to the unsupported conclusion that everyone is immune to low doses of radiation:

Secret US-Israeli Nuke Transfers Led To Fukushima Blasts

By Yoichi Shimatsu

A Rense World Exclusive

Sixteen tons and what you get is a nuclear catastrophe. The explosions that rocked the Fukushima No.1 nuclear plant were more powerful than the combustion of hydrogen gas, as claimed by the Tokyo Electric Power Company. The actual cause of the blasts, according to intelligence sources in Washington, was nuclear fission of. warhead cores illegally taken from America’s sole nuclear-weapons assembly facility. Evaporation in the cooling pools used for spent fuel rods led to the detonation of stored weapons-grade plutonium and uranium. Continue reading
