In the latest debacle for the US State Department and the Obama Administration, US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was caught on tape micro-managing Ukraine opposition party strategies with US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt. That the Ukraine regime-change operation is to some degree being directed from Washington can no longer be denied.
The tape (listen below) was released today, on the eve of Nuland’s second trip to meet with Ukrainian protestors and opposition leaders in the past two months — last time she passed out cookies to protestors.
The taped conversation demonstrates in clear detail that while Secretary of State John Kerry decries any foreign meddling in Ukraine’s internal affairs, his State Department is virtually managing the entire process. The “F**k the EU” part is her expressing anger that the EU is not moving fast enough with regime change in Ukraine and her plan is to get the UN involved in the process.
As the Kyiv Post reports:
In a conversation leaked online and posted to YouTube on Feb. 6, voices closely resembling those of U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland discuss loosely the roles of Ukrainian opposition leaders and the United Nations, and frustration over inaction and indecision by the European Union in solving Ukraine’s political crisis.
The voice allegedly of Nuland adds that [Ukrainian opposition leader Vitali] Klitschko should not be given a role in government.
“I don’t think it’s necessary, I don’t think it’s a good idea,” she says.
“Yeah… I guess… in terms of him not going into the government, just let him sort of stay out and do his political homework and stuff,” Pyatt says.
Before the call ends, Nuland tells Pyatt she has “one more wrinkle” for him.
Commenting on European pressure put on Yanukovych – or lack thereof – she explains that she has spoken to the United Nations and has gotten an official there who said that Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary general, agreed to send someone to Ukraine to “help glue this thing and to have the UN glue it.”
She adds: “And you know, fuck the EU.”
“Exactly,” Pyatt replies. “And I think we got to do something to make it stick together, because you can be sure that if it does start to gain altitude the Russians will be working behind the scenes to torpedo it. Let me work on Klitschko, and I think we should get a Western personality to come out here (to Ukraine) and midwife this thing,’’ he adds.
The call is concrete confirmation of what we have been writing here at RPI for some time. This is a cruder and more violent version of the US-sponsored Orange Revolution.
Particularly interesting from the recording is the treatment of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon as some sort of junior errand boy for Washington. That explains his cowardly move to rescind Iran’s invitation to participate in the Geneva II talks as soon as Secretary Kerry demanded it.
One can only wonder why the government of Ukraine does not rescind Nuland’s visa and send her packing back to Washington, along with the US ambassador. No normal country on earth would allow foreign officials to actively plot inside the country with those seeking to overthrow the government.
A final bit of irony in the US government reaction to the bombshell tape is State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki directly accusing the Russian government of being behind the tape and expressing shock — shock! — that a foreign government might be spying on the US. “A new low,” she called it. It’s only OK if we do it!

Offices of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm, were torched on Friday in the canal cities of Suez, Ismailiya and Port Said, according to the Egyptian state television.
The FJP office in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria was also stormed, leading to the outbreak of clashes between protesters and Morsi’s supporters.
Morsi issued a new declaration on Thursday, under which no judicial body can dissolve Egypt’s Constituent Assembly that is currently writing a new constitution.
The declaration allows the president to take “any decision or measure to protect the revolution.” It also considers decisions and laws issued by the president as “final and not subject to appeal.”
The move drew calls for nationwide protests from opposition forces who branded the declaration as “a coup against legitimacy” and “a major blow on the revolution that could have dire consequences.”
Mohamed ElBaradei, a Nobel Peace prize laureate and the former director general of International Atomic Energy Agency, said Morsi had “usurped all state powers and appointed himself Egypt’s new pharaoh.” Continue reading
Mainstream media reports riot in the streets of Iran because of a crumbling economy. Hundreds of police disbursed groups that formed, firing tear gas into the crowds.
This is the first instance of public unrest over the declining Iranian currency and has the hallmarks of being a synthetic revolt.
The pressure placed on Iran by the US and Zionist interests is causing massive suffering on the part of Iranian citizens. This has limited Iran’s ability to sell oil. The Iranian rial has lost 18% of its worth and still plummeting . Trading has nearly completely been halted, according to trading houses.
Anoush Ehteshami, professor of international relations at Durham University in the U.K, states that: “The fact that there are street protests was in many ways inevitable given that the Iranians are essentially living in a pressure cooker. The protest also reflects the lack of confidence in the elite’s ability to sort things out. People are also aware of tensions at the highest level of the state and you put these things together and they want at the very least to show their anger.”
Concerning Iran, AIPAC coerced the US Congress to impose stricter sanctions on Iran with HR 1905 and the desire to inspire the revolution of Iranian citizens against their government.
Rumors of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad being unfit to guide the Islamic nation are beginning to circulate. Meanwhile protesters are beginning to surface in a curious way – nearly just as the US-sponsored Free Syrian Army (FSA) suddenly developed.
Kofi Annan, UN envoy to Syria, has quit his mission by stepping down from his attempts to facilitate peace through his 6 point peace plan.
Mainstream media is blaming Annan for failing to bring peace in an obvious redirection of attention to the actuality of the situation in Syria. While Annan’s stepping down was strategic, this is but a segway to the purpose of the plan to invade Syria as a fake “last resort”. Assad is perfectly aware of this.
Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, spending months supposedly pushing peace, while truly threatening all surrounding nations that the US and Israel are gaining ground to have full international backing of their strong desire to strike Syria and remove Assad.
Obama has signed an order giving financial and military support to the FSA. A crafty directive was written, giving the US greater covert “non-lethal” assistance and the State Department “set aside” $25 million for the fake revolutionaries.
The US Treasury has granted release of funds to the FSA through the Syrian Support Group (SSG), a Washington representative of the FSA to conduct financial transactions. The SSG’s “vision” is to “promote the establishment of a free, independent and democratic Syria.” Whenever the ideals of democracy are brought to a foreign nation, through the assistance of the US government, American interests in the resources of that nation are evident.
Egypt’s “revolutionaries” prove again the unfathomable fraud that is the “Arab Spring.”

Once again after yet another disingenuous campaign by the corporate media, the “Arab Spring” mobs filling Egypt’s Tahrir Square have revealed their true agenda, calling for US corporate-funded International Crisis Group trustee Mohammed ElBaradei to be named by the military as the next “president” of Egypt. Increasing violence in Tahrir Square along with calls by the White House and the EU for a “a quick transfer of power to a civilian government in Egypt,” is pressuring the Egyptian military to quickly find a suitable replacement to quell the mobs.
Wall Street and London, via their corporate-media have been building up ElBaradei for at least a year before the “Arab Spring” even began, portraying him as the great hope for Egypt. Foreign Affairs magazine, in March 2010, literally printed an article titled, “Is ElBaradei Egypt’s Hero?”
ElBaradei’s Long Belly-Crawl Into Power
The US International Crisis Group (ICG) trustee Mohamed ElBaradei has spent over a year prying his way into Egyptian politics, landing in Cairo not at the beginning of the recent unrest in January 2011, but all the way back in February 2010. He was met, literally at the airport in Cairo, by the US State Department trained and supported April 6 Youth Movement and Google executive Wael Ghonim. Over the next year they campaigned together for the November 2010 elections, built up the “National Front for Change,” and prepared for the protests Wall Street and London had been designing since at least 2008. These protests would then be portrayed disingenuously by the complicitous corporate-media as “spontaneous,” “indigenous,” and “inspired by” the equally disingenuous, premeditated unrest that had just shook Tunisia.
A revolution against the controlling elite that thrusts off the tyranny of their central banking, the indoctrination in their schools, the lies of their media, and the brainwashing of their entertainment, would be a welcome development.
But a revolution that appears to free the oppressed masses from the ultra-rich, while it is manipulated behind the scenes by the globalist elite will only lead to more enslavement.
Liberty’s Last Stand?
The “occupying” protests here in America have been characterized as spontaneous and leaderless. Protesters, politicians, and the mass media have compared it to the so-called spontaneous uprisings of the Arab Spring.
In reality, neither has been spontaneous nor leaderless. The Arab Spring was planned years ago and then executed by the forces of oppression that the people thought they were attempting to overthrow.
