Syria targeted by US advocates of unipolar global order

Washington’s regime change policy in Syria is about the world order. While human rights and democracy are featured in the propaganda mix, the real issue turns on the future of the international system and the role of international law.

The Obama administration, just as the Bush administration before it, mistakenly seeks through geopolitical measures to enforce a US-led unipolar world and to delay the emergence of a multipolar world.

In the Middle East, many Washington politicians and policymakers see Israel as the key US strategic ally. As the US pivots to the Asia-Pacific, they want Israel’s regional position strengthened and its enemies, such as Syria and Iran, weakened.

US general and former head of NATO command, Europe, Wesley Clark revealed in 2007 the game plan of the neoconservative network around then vice president Dick Cheney which played the key role in the Iran and Afghan wars of the Bush administration.

In a speech to the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, Clark said that in the wake of the 9/11 attack, he learned from Continue reading

Zionists using three-track strategy to destroy Syria: Analyst

A political analyst says Zionists are pursuing a three-track strategy of “labyrinthine madness” to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and destroy Syria.

“A politically incorrect wave of labyrinthine madness is casting its heavy shadow over Syria as the country is being surrounded left and right by Zionist plots thickening beyond control,” wrote Dr. Ismail Salami, author and political commentator, in an article published on the Global Researchwebsite.

Pointing to the activities of such Zionist heavyweights as Haim Saban, “an Egyptian born Israeli-American media mogul…and self-described as ‘a one-issue man’ with Israel being ‘his issue’,” he explained how Tel Aviv and its agents are working to unseat Assad.

“Israel is following a tripartite plot in order to topple Bashar Assad and destroy Syria under the guidance of [such figures as] Haim Saban: Continue reading

Israel smuggling weapons to Syria through Iraqi Kurdistan, sources say

Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government President Massoud Barzani (file photo)

Israeli airplanes are smuggling weapons into Syria through Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Syrian sources toldPress TV.

According to the sources, Israel sends weapons to Iraqi Kurdistan, which are then smuggled into Syria with financial assistance from Qatar.

Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government President Massoud Barzani has facilitated the operations of illegal Israeli firms in the region.

Barzani also refused to hand over fugitive Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, who is accused of involvement in terrorist attacks, to the Iraqi government and helped him flee from the country.

Hashemi, who is accused of running a terror squad in Iraq, flew to Turkey on April 10 after visiting Qatar and Saudi Arabia on the third leg of what he called an “official visit” to regional countries. He still resides in Turkey.

Meanwhile, the Syrian sources said that Washington has trained 400 al-Qaeda militants in European countries. They are then reportedly transferred to Syria to carry out acts of violence.

The unrest in Syria began in March 2011, with demonstrations being held both against and in support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government.

The West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of killing protesters, but Damascus blames “outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.

West Desperately Attempts to Spin Syrian Crisis

Latest fabrications includes defected “air force officer” with “super human” hearing and sight, and miraculous satellite imaging

by Tony Cartalucci

June 2, 2012 – The Guardian claims in their report, “I saw massacre of children, says defecting Syrian air force officer,” that long bearded men with shaved heads were observed by an alleged “air force officer” from inside his house some 300 meters away, storming the village of Houla, Syria screaming, “Shabiha forever, for your eyes, Assad.” The Guardian claims this tenuous narrative constitutes, “crucial evidence on the Houla killings.”

“A lot of them were bald and many had beards. Many wore white sports shoes and army pants,” said Guardian’s “defected officer.” An apt description of the NATO-armed sectarian terrorists that ravaged Libya before traveling to Syria (here, here, and here) to continue their campaign of extremist-driven genocide. Of course, Guardian’s “officer” claims he heard, from 300 meters away, inside his house, the militants crying the conveniently incriminating, “Shabiha forever, for your eyes, Assad.”

The officer claims he saw militants riding in “cars and army trucks and on motorbikes,” which contradicts another star witness the Guardian has produced, little 11 year old “Ali” who maintains that militants dismounted from tanks and armored transports to carry out their dark deeds. The Guardian reported, “”they came in armoured vehicles and there were some tanks,” said the boy.”  Continue reading
