KUALA LUMPUR – At a closed-door seminar on the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, veteran police commanders and retired military officers said that erroneous media reports and bizarre blogger theories are aimed at debunking the logical conclusion that the jetliner was hijacked. Trivialized speculation and futile searching have presented a mid-sea crash as the only possible scenario and a given fact without a shred of evidence.
Meanwhile the country’s largest ad agency is pushing a cynical publicity campaign to persuade families and friends to give up the search for their loved ones. Across the capital Kuala Lumpur, gigantic billboards and electronic signs are posted with “condolences” and “mourning” for those aboard MH370, asserting without an iota of proof that the passengers are dead. The shadowy ad firm Ganad behind this cruel hoax is hardly a moral standard bearer, after admitting to unreported business contracts and bribery in a court of law last year.
Who could be behind this campaign to demoralize the Malaysian public? A veteran Malaysian police detective at the seminar said that psychological-warfare tactics are being orchestrated from the Mossad station in neighboring Singapore, a stronghold of Zionist influence since the colonial era. The SingaIsraeli cover-up has backfired, however, as millions of skeptical Malaysians filter fact from corporate media lies and hold on to the possibility that someday, somehow the hostages will be freed from captivity.

Emerging Consensus Points to Israel as Perpetrator

The consensus among the gathering, which included veteran police and military officers who have insider access to government information, includes:
– The last radar detection of MH370, picked up by an airport at Surathani, Thailand, showed the jetliner moving due west between Penang and Lankawi island, past 2 a.m. when radar at the local international airports had already closed. The plane was not following a southerly arc toward Australia as erroneously suggested by European aircraft experts cited in the mass media.
– Eyewitness accounts of a low-flying jetliner over the Maldives are bona fide and consistent with other evidence showing the jetliner was forced to land on nearby Diego Garcia island, a US military facility in the British-controlled Chagos Islands group, where a large contingent of Israeli Defense Force personnel are stationed.
– The early-on claim that two Iranian terrorists were aboard was a red herring planted by the Mossad. The European passports in their possession were stolen in Thailand and their air tickets were purchased over the phone, suggesting a frame-up by Israeli spies, who operate out of the Chabad Houses in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. The false terror scare was a ruse to convince the US military to permit MH370 to land at Diego Garcia.
– Before departure from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) the pilot ordered extra aircraft fuel, indicating a plan to fly the jetliner after transiting at Diego Garcia. With full fuel tanks, a Boeing 777 can easily reach Israel.

The map of southern tip of Diego Garcia shows where the MH370 passengers were detained, at an abandoned NSA complex at the top of the map, recently used as a prison for rendition suspects. Formerly called the Ground-based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance center, it was used by the NSA to track and process data from spy satellites. Its functions have been replaced by USAF-NSA orbital platforms. The demolished satellite dish park is shown below the NSA complex.

The Unknown Soldiers
On March 18, some 10 days after the hijack, American passenger Philip Wood managed to send an i-Phone message, consisting of a dark “selfie” photo of his hooded head. His voice message was probably received, transcribed and edited into a standard SOS text by his fiance Sarah Bajc, a business executive in Beijing with intelligence connections. His message reads:
“I have been held hostage by unknown military personnel after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the other passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.”
The key words here are “unknown military”. A trained security expert, Wood would have detected British, Australian or Turkish accents among the hostage takers. The only other military contingent on Diego Garcia, second only to Americans in numbers of personnel, are the Israelis. Dressed in unmarked uniforms, the Israels would speak in English with a variety of accents and therefore fit his description of an “unknown military.”
Wood was unaware of his location. GPS data from his i-Phone phone indicate that the passengers were held in the southeast sector of the ring-shaped atoll at an abandoned NSA facility. Formerly known as the Ground-based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance center, the fenced site with several structures has been used for extraordinary renditions in the war on terror, as attested to in a 2009 lawsuit in a London court by two Egyptian prisoners secretly detained there, as reported by The Guardian.
As shown in the Egyptian suspects’ court testimony against the British military, allied forces have had free rein to run their own operations on Diego Garcia without interference from the US military. Therefore, it was possible for the Israelis to remain in control of the Flight 370 passengers and crew at the remote NSA facility, after turning over the two Iranians to American interrogators.
Wood’s role as the security expert for the Freescale Semiconductor team aboard MH370 would have prompted the Israel team to separate him from other passengers for solitary confinement. He was taken the switching facility for an abandoned array of satellite dishes, which appear as circles on the ground, south of the NSA compound.
The Israeli commandos isolated Wood because, as the team security expert, he was the only person who knew how to organize the computer programmers and other passengers to refuse to disclose their names and job titles to their captors. By hiding or exchanging their passports, and refusing any cooperation, the passengers could prevent the hijackers from completing their mission of identifying the Freesoft staffers and taking them on a smaller military aircraft to Israel. Wood’s task, in contrast, was to protect the data, so vital to American national security, whatever the sacrifice.
By March 24, Sarah Bajc’s on camera interviews with CNN and BBC bureaus in Beijing, and her pleas to the US Embassy, spurred the State Department and CIA officials to launch an inquiry as to why an American security expert was being held by a foreign military. Once investigators examined the GPS data sent with the i-Phone photo, American intelligence officials realized to their dismay that MH370 was parked on the US military base in Diego Garcia.
That shocking discovery caused the American officers at Diego Garcia to order the Israelis to remove the plane and its passengers from their jurisdiction. Since a return to Kuala Lumpur would have caused an uproar, the only acceptable destination was a Royal Australian Air Force base in the Outback, north of Perth. RAAF Base Pearce at Bullsbrook is a joint-use base with the Singapore Air Force, putting it under de facto control of the Israel Air and Space Wing, which organized the MH370 hijacking.
By hiding the plane in Western Australia, the military allies could to buy time to resolve the diplomatically embarrassing crisis. The plane never reached that holding center.

IBM security expert Philip Wood was kept in solitary confinement at this power switching station after “unknown military personnel” separated him from other passengers. The circles are foundations of dismantled satellite dishes and microwave-relay towers used by the NSA satellite-tracking station. From this site, he managed to send an SOS message from an i-Phone that he had hidden in his underpants.

Islamist fighters move 12 abducted Syrian nuns from Maaloula to rebel-held town

image

Maaloula town

Islamist fighters have moved the nuns abducted from a convent in the predominantly Christian town of Maaloula to a nearby town held by rebels. The leader of the Orthodox Church of Antioch has called on the international community to help save them.

Vatican envoy to Syria, Mario Zenari, said on Tuesday that 12 nuns including the convent’s mother superior had been taken from Maaloula to the rebel held town of Yabroud, some 20 km away. “They forced the sisters to evacuate and to follow them towards Yabroud,” Zenari told Reuters from Damascus by telephone, adding that he did not know for what purposes it had been done.

Zenari also said that the nuns were among the last residents remaining in Maaloula after most had fled south to Damascus.

On Monday, Syrian state television reported that several nuns had been abducted from the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Mar Thecla after Islamists captured the ancient part of the town and attacked the convent.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry sent letters to the head of the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary General urging the international community to condemn the rebel attack on Maaloula and the convent, and to put pressure on the countries supporting the rebels.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X urged the international community on Tuesday to speak up in defense of Syria’s Christians.

“We urge the United Nations and all governments to speak out in support of Christians in Syria and to take the steps required to free these nuns from capture,” his statement says.

Febronia Nabhan, the mother superior of another convent in Maaloula, said that apart from the nuns, three “young maids” were taken from the convent on Monday.

Nabhan told the AFP that she talked with Mar Thecla’s mother superior, Pelagia Sayaf, on her phone Monday evening and was told they were in Yabrud, which is located some 80km north of Damascus, “comfortably installed in a house.”

Syrian state television reported that Christians had held a service in Damascus, Monday, to protest against the kidnapping of the nuns as well as for two bishops who were abducted near Aleppo in April.

A report by the pan Arabic satellite TV channel Al Mayadeen said that the Syrian soldiers along with local militias were launching an operation to liberate Maaloula.

The rebels who attacked the town reportedly came over from the nearby town of Nabak in which Syrian forces are carrying out anti-terrorist operations.

The fighting in Maaloula is part of a wider struggle between Al-Qaeda linked fighters of the Nusra Front and the Syrian army for control of the strategic Damascus-Homs highway, which passes close by the town.

Maaloula was the scene of heavy fighting in September. It is considered to be one of the birthplaces of Christianity and is home to a number of shrines and monasteries, which are listed as UNESCO world heritage sites.

According to the Syrian Patriarch of the Melkite Greek Catholic church, Gregory Laham, some 450,000 Syrian Christians have been forced from their homes by the civil war that began in March 2011. He added that “at least 57 Christian sites” have been damaged or destroyed since the beginning of hostilities, and blamed the United States and its Western allies for aggravating the situation by providing assistance to the rebels.

Christians, who comprise about 10 percent of Syria’s population, are viewed as supporters of President Bashar Assad, fearing the Islamist ideology of some rebels. This has made them the target of attacks.

“I believe it is all systematic and planned,” Sami Housni, a Christian priest in Damascus told RT. “Forcing Christians to leave… In Iraq, for instance, less than 200,000 Christians remain. We do have concerns, we do hope to stick to our land – Syria, which is the cradle of Christianity. We also hope that the Pope and heads of Christian denominations shall call for denouncing violence and adopting dialogue.”

Syrian rebels set to execute Ukrainian journalist

Screenshot from a YouTube video showing Anhar Kochneva in captivity

NGOs are urging Syrian rebels to release a Ukrainian journalist, Anhar Kochneva, who is set to be executed Thursday. Meanwhile the group behind the kidnapping warned it would now target all Russians, Ukrainians and Iranians on Syrian soil.

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), ARTICLE 19, the International Press Institute and Reporters Without Borders issued a joint statement expressing deep concern about Kochneva’s life and urging the leadership of the Free Syrian Army and of the Syrian Opposition Coalition to ensure that the journalist is safe and set free.

The groups also called on the French, British and US governments, as well as the European Union to work with the Syrian opposition to facilitate her release.

Kochneva, who has reported critically about the Syrian rebels for Russian and Ukrainian news outlets, was captured in the beginning of October near the restive city of Homs. The kidnappers, allegedly members of the Free Syrian Army, threatened to kill her on December 13 if a US$ 50 million ransom is not paid. Continue reading

Orthodox Priest Kidnapped and Executed by US-NATO Sponsored Rebels

Damascus (Agenzia Fides) – The body of the greek orthodox priest Fr. Fadi Jamil Haddad, pastor of the church of St. Elias in Qatana, was found today in the Jaramana neighborhood (north of Damascus) not far from the place where he was kidnapped, on October 19, by unidentified armed group (see Fides 24/10/2012). This was confirmed to Fides by Fr. Haddad’s greek-orthodox confrere, who asked for anonymity. “His body was horribly tortured and his eyes gouged out,” he told Fides. “It is a purely terrorist act. Fr. Haddad is a martyr of our church. ”

With regards to the responsibilities of the terrible act there is an ongoing rebound of responsibilities between the opposition forces and government authorities, that accuse the armed gangs of armed rebellion in the army. According to Fides sources, the kidnappers had asked the priest’s family and his church a ransom of 50 million Syrian pounds (over 550 thousand euro). It was, however, impossible to find the money and meet this exorbitant demand. A source of Fides condemns “the terrible practice, present for months in this dirty war, of kidnapping and then killing innocent civilians.”

Among the various Christian communities in Syria, the greek orthodox is the largest (with about 500 thousand faithful) and is concentrated mainly in the western part of the country and in Damascus.

OBAMA’S SYRIA DESTABILIZATION CAMPAIGN: Despite the Ceasefire Agreement, Assassinations and Kidnappings Continue…

by Scott Creighton

As the UN Ceasefire Agreement in Syria reaches it’s fourth day, the so-called “rebels” and “activists” are continuing their destabilization campaign now with the help of “non military aid” provided by the Obama administration and paychecks for the terrorists coming from other Middle Eastern countries.

Kidnappings and assassinations have been rampant these past few days mainly targeting candidates for the upcoming elections. Kind of an odd thing for these so-called “democracy activists” to do, trying to keep candidates from participating in an open election, wouldn’t you say?

According to official SANA news agency, a candidate for Syria’s upcoming parliamentary elections, Mohammad Ismail al-Ahmed, was kidnapped Saturday by an “armed terrorist group” in the northern province of Idlib.

“Terrorists” stormed al-Ahmed’s house in Idlib’s al-Tih town, shot at him, and took him to an unknown destination, SANA said.

According to private media reports, the so-called “battalions of Mohammed”, a rebel group, have recently threatened to kill whoever might put himself as a candidate for the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

The group said in a video uploaded onto YouTube that they would force the candidates to withdraw from the parliamentary elections. Xinhua

The last thing Hillary Clinton and her NATO co-conspirators want is to see a legitimate election take place in Syria in the next few weeks. It would make it nearly impossible for them afterward to claim the government of the country is illegitimate. So the endgame here is to make sure that election doesn’t take place and if it does, they need to make sure that it is as flawed as possible.

One way to do that is to make sure candidates back out of the election before it takes place due to fear of being killed for participating in it. As long as the media ignores the REASON they don’t participate, the regime change advocates like Clinton can then blame the Assad regime even though it is clearly her “activists” who are behind the killings and kidnappings.

There have been several other leading political and military figures killed or kidnapped in the past 4 days…

Earlier Saturday, another armed group kidnapped Colonel Mohammad Eid in the central province of Hama and took him to an unknown place, SANA said.

Private websites and TV close to the Syrian government said Saturday that a prominent preacher was assassinated late Friday in the Damascus suburb of Saida Zeinab.

The reports said Sayyed Nasser al-Allawi, the imam and preacher of al-Hossayniya Scientific Hawza, was shot from a near distance in front of his house and died after being taken to a nearby hospital.

… Also on Friday, “armed terrorist groups” killed Major Moussa Youssef in the central province of Hama, an act decried by SANA as an attempt to “undermine Syria’s stability and blow up any effort to find a political solution to the crisis.”

Even on Thursday, when the ceasefire proposed by UN-Arab League special envoy Kofi Annan went into effect, officials including a brigadier general in the Damascus suburb of Jaramana, a first lieutenant in the northern province of Aleppo, and the secretary of al-Baath Party’s office in al-Mazareeb town of the southern Daraa province were killed, and dozens of officers were wounded. Xinhua

This increase in violence from the so-called “activists” coincides with President Obama’s approval of a “non-lethal” aid package for the activists. In accordance with the agreement reached at the Orwellian named “Friends of Syria” conference, we are now supplying medial and communication equipment to the foreign fighters destabilizing Syria.

US President Barack Obama has approved non-lethal US aid, including communications equipment and medicines for Syria’s rebels, and plans to increase the package over time, a US official said Friday. AFP

The fact that Hillary Clinton herself admitted that al Qaeda is in Syria fighting with the “rebels” seems lost on most media outlets.

We have a very dangerous set of actors in the region, al-Qaida [sic], Hamas, and those who are on our terrorist list, to be sure, supporting – claiming to support the opposition [in Syria].” Global Research (video there)

Libya Carnage: NATO in Sirte 2011 doing what the Luftwaffe did in Gernika 1937. A Call to Action.

The city is being obliterated for resisting the attacks of the rebels, incapable of taking the city by themselves. Hundreds of civilians have been killed & wounded by NATO warplanes  bombing 24/7 not letting rescue teams help those under the rubble. A major war crime is being hidden to the world by the collusion of US, EU & Arab news corporations with NATO & the inaction of the International Red Cross & “humanitarian” NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) chiefly among them Amnesty International (Britain), Human Rights Watch (USA), Médecins Sans Frontières (France). These organizations work to justify wars of aggression by NATO through UN & media hype but fail miserably to report on NATO & NATO-controlled rebels atrocities in Libya which are publicly known & verifiable. Their silence is complicity. Continue reading
