Assad vows victorious battle for Syria

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has promised that the Syrian nation will be the victorious party in possible Western-hatched war.

Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that the Syrian president met with his country’s senior officials and army commanders in light of preparations for an American strike, and said “This historic battle will see us victorious.”

According to the report, President Assad said to senior leaders that “since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, you know that we have been waiting for the moment that our true enemy intervenes.”

He further pointed out that the Syrian army and people possess powerful spirit to defend their country.

President Barack Obama claimed on Wednesday that the Syrian government would face “international consequences” for last week’s deadly chemical attack, but made clear any military response would be limited to avoid dragging the United States into another war in the Middle East.

Hundreds of people were killed and scores of others were injured in a chemical attack in the Damascus suburbs of Ain Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar on August 21.

The Syrian government has vehemently denied the accusations on the use of chemical weapons, saying the chemical attack was carried out by the militants themselves as a false-flag operation.

Al-Jaafari: Syria Needs Objective, Unbiased Aid

NEW YORK, (SANA)- Syria needs real unbiased aid and not just a highlight on the humanitarian situation that does not meet the precise evaluation and description of what is actually taking place in the country, said Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari.

Al-Jaafari’s remarks came in a press statement following a closed-door session of the UN Security Council on the situation in Syria held on Wednesday.

He dismissed as “having nothing to do with reality “the statements made on the humanitarian situation in Syria by UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, UN High Commissioner for Refugees and UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict.

These statements came in line with “the unilateral outlook to what is happening in Syria”, said al-Jaafari, lashing out at the UN representatives for refraining to admit that the Syrian government has actually been cooperative with each one of them, a cooperation that resulted in signing what was labeled as “the response plan” with the UN.

He explained how the Syrian government, in the framework of its cooperation with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Valerie Amos, has allowed access to 11 international NGOs to deliver humanitarian aid into the Syrian territories. Continue reading

Increased numbers of ‘foreign elements,’ Jihadi groups operating in Syria

UN investigators confirmed that “foreign elements,” including jihadists, are operating in Syria. The independent panel also alleged that both the Syrian government and the rebels committed war crimes during the country’s ongoing conflict.

The independent investigations panel appointed by the UN’s Human Rights Council reported that some of the foreign elements joined rebel groups, while others acted independently. “Such elements tend to push anti-government fighters towards more radical positions,” the head of the panel warned.

The international community is unable to reach a consensus on solving the increasingly militarized conflict in Syria, which has raged for the past 18 months. The West and several Gulf nations are pushing for the removal of President Bashar al-Assad, while Russia and China argue that he should only step down if the Syrian people vote him out. Russia: If US supports rebels, Russia will Support Syria

Vladimir Zhirinovsky has labeled calls by US senators demanding Barack Obama directly support the Syrian opposition “absolutely unacceptable.”

He said his party would demand a Russian response. In an article appeared this week in The Washington Post, three influential senators called on the Obama administration to “directly and openly provide robust assistance to the armed opposition, including weapons, intelligence and training.” In the event of US military intervention in Syria, Zhirinovsky warned that “Syria will follow the fate of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and other countries.”

Although his party is opposed to outside military interference in the affairs of independent states, “if the US senators’ calls for supporting the Syrian opposition ‘with fire and sword’ are put into practice, the Liberal Democratic Party will insist on a Russian response.” “If the Republican senators succeed in persuading the US president to provide military support to the Syrian rebels, we will demand that the Russian leadership openly side with the Syrian government,” the Russian politician added. “Gangs of armed terrorists are acting in Syria under the guise of opposition status,” he said.

Russia Will Not Take Part in EU Sanctions on Damascus, Opposes Searching of Its Vessels to Syria

MOSCOW, (SANA) – Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, stressed on Saturday that the West and some Arab states are encouraging the Syrian opposition to fight against the Syrian Government.

At a press conference in Sochi, Lavrov said that the UN Human Rights Council has offered evidence confirming that the armed groups and the opposition are practicing execution and torture, adding that therefore “pressure must be put on everyone.”

“Unfortunately, our Western partners prefer to do something a bit different and essentially, along with some countries neighboring Syria, encourage, support and direct the armed fight against the regime,” he said.

“The price of all this is still more blood,” he added.

Lavrov stressed that all sides have to implement the agreements reached by the Action Group on Syria, which held its meeting in Geneva last June, underscoring the necessity of implementing these agreements to halt violence immediately. Continue reading

The “Manaf Tlass fake defection” operation

Bashar Al Assad and Manaf Tlass

By MKERone (co-founder of CounterPsyOps)

The defection of Manaf Tlass was widely relayed by western media and depicted as a “hard blow” for the Syrian government. Some even went on to say that this was a major shift in the Syrian crisis and was a sign of the imminent downfall of Bashar Al Assad.

The way he left Syria remains a mystery. Some say he went through Turkey, others confirm he left through Lebanon. Later, we learned that Manaf was in France ( As confirmer by French president François Hollande ). And according to some sources, he was staying at the George V hotel next to the Champs Elysees (owned by Saudi Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal Ben Abdelaziz Saud). Western press then relayed his declaration in which he stated that the Syrian government was hold “the majority of responsability” for the Syrian crisis and called for a transition.

Last thursday (July the 19th) rumors started spreading on the internet that Manaf Tlass was back in Damascus with his father.

Our sources in Lebanon and Syria confirmed the information (and information was also confirmed by many twitter people currently in Damascus) though no official confirmation was made.

According to our sources Manaf Tlass didn’t defect. They say that actually, this was all planned by the Syrian government top level (Bashar Al Assad and a couple of other very loyal officials). Manaf Tlass supposedly left Syria secretly with the help of Hezbollah to later go to France. The goals of this operation were very simple.

First off, this would be a very “hard blow” on Syria’s enemies willing to see Assad fall. Indeed, the move aimed at making them feel over confident and think their plans were working. Which are absolutely not as per latest info received from the ground.

The second but not least, was to have the traitors and/or coward members of the Syrian government and Syrian army (if any) defecting. Indeed, having Manaf Tlass – who was part of Assad’s inner circle – defecting, would make traitors and coward officials think that it was time to cut a deal with western powers and leave. This enabled to “clean” the political and military systems and to know who were the loyal and indefectible ones. And once the traitors and cowards were out of the system, the government could launch a country wide operation to annihilate the terrorist groups (founded, financed, armed and  trained by the NATO/GCC/EU/US/israël) which have been operating in Syria since the beginning of last year.

We can notice that right after Manaf Tlass was (supposedly) back in Damascus, the Syrian government issued a 48 hours deadline to rebels in Damascus and the Syrian Arab Army started its successful cleansing operations in parts of the capital, Damascus, as expected by the Syrian people, which kept calling for the army to have an “Iron Grip” on the city. The Syrian government also announced that the Syrian Army was about to liberate the whole country from terrorist groups.

Whether above informations are confirmed or not, we are very confident on the Syrian government and Army ability to retake the full control of the country and stop the bloodshed.

We also want to salute the brave Syrian people for supporting their government and their army.
