CFR member, United Nations propaganda asset and “special envoy” Angelina Jolie has been sent to Jordan to bring attention to the squalid conditions at the Zaatari refugee camp.
“UNHCR spokesman Ali Bebe says the Hollywood star arrived Monday and is to visit Jordan’s first tent city for Syrian refugees on Tuesday morning,” the Associated Press reports.
Jolie will be accompanied by U.N. refugee chief Antonio Guterres and Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh. Guterres is a former prime minister of Portugal and leading member of the Socialist International and a Bilderberg attendee.
Zaatari is one of a number of Syrian refugee camps in the Jordanian desert. The U.S. and its asset run by the CIA and Britain’s MI6, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), recruit fighters from the camps for the ongoing effort to depose Bashar al-Assad and install a more globalist friendly entity in Syria.
“Jordan has rejected several requests by the Assad government for the extradition of [Syrian government] defectors and has allowed entry to hundreds of Syrian rebels who move freely around the country,” the Times of Israel reported in August. Continue reading →
August 29, 2012 – Western policy makers admit that NATO’s operations in Libya have played the primary role in emboldening Al Qaeda’s AQIM faction (Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb). The Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution’s Bruce Riedel in his article, “The New Al Qaeda Menace,” admits that AQIM is now heavily armed thanks to NATO’s intervention in Libya, and that AQIM’s base in Mali, North Africa, serves as a staging ground for terrorist activities across the region.
NATO’s intervention in Libya has resurrected listed-terrorist organization and Al Qaeda affiliate, LIFG. It had previously fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now has fighters, cash and weapons, all courtesy of NATO, spreading as far west as Mali, and as far east as Syria. The feared “global Caliphate” Neo-Cons have been scaring Western children with for a decade is now taking shape via US-Saudi, Israeli, and Qatari machinations, not “Islam.” In fact, real Muslims have paid the highest price in fighting this real “war against Western-funded terrorism.”
Two letters addressed to the head of the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary General.
The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that during the past few days, armed terrorists carried out attacks against civilians, public and private properties in Syria, particularly in Damascus and Aleppo.
The Ministry said that those terrorists –backed openly by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey – committed crimes against civilians in Damascus and Aleppo, and are still doing so in Aleppo, where a large number of those gunmen gathered as their entry into Syria was facilitated by Turkey, and they occupied several crowded neighborhoods and used locals as human shields, killing everyone that doesn’t support them forcing others to leave their homes.
The letters pointed out that what calls attention is that all this took place after the recent visit of UN Envoy to Syria Kofi Annan in July 8th 2012. Continue reading →
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that “demands that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad quit power are blocking efforts to end the conflict.”
Lavrov said that “such calls – made by the United States, several European and Arab governments and Turkey – were fanning the flames of violence.”
He also reiterated “Moscow’s view that support for Syrian rebel groups was tantamount to backing terrorism.”“We propose things that would allow for an immediate ceasefire, but the other side says, ‘No, either the regime capitulates or we will continue to back … the opposition’s armed fight’, justifying terrorist acts,” Lavrov said.
“As long as such support continues, what kind of humanitarian action can we talk about? – including the initiatives of those who will not allow this fire to die down, but instead are fanning it,” he told a joint briefing with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic in Moscow.
Russia, an ally of Syria, and China have faced vehement criticism from Western states for vetoing UN Security Council resolutions intended to increase pressure on Assad to end the violence sparked by a government crackdown on pro-democracy protesters. Continue reading →
As reported by Reuters, it is now an openly admitted fact that foreign countries provide training, weapons, money and intelligence to the terrorist groups fighting in Syria. We were all aware of that since day 1 of the unrest. Though, nothing was confirmed. Until now.
Where is the corrupt and zionist controlled United Nations now? Shouldn’t they remind Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar that what they’re doing infriges international law, the UN charter and international conventions ?
The United Nations has just proven, once again, whose interest it serves…
Remember the Iraq war when French president Jacques Chiraq vetoed a resolution for an intervention? What did George Bush do? He went to war. And what did the UN do against they USA? Nothing !
Expose United Nations continuous lies & propaganda. Expose whose interests it serves. People need to understand that the United Nations has absolutely no legitimacy whatsoever to meddle in international nor national affairs. Its observers shouldn’t be in Syria. They should be in Palestine, in Iraq, in Afghanistan.
NEW YORK, (SANA)- Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, said there is a methodical Israeli pattern of violations and practices that contradict the minimum of the human rights principles and the international humanitarian law which some refrain from subjecting Israel to international accountability.
Delivering Syria’s statement during an open Security Council session on Wednesday discussing ‘The Situation in the Middle East’ item, al-Jaafari lashed out against the efforts of providing cover for failure in finding a solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict due to the Israeli obstinacy through interjecting other unrelated issues such as the false claims brought up by some Arab delegations against Syria.
He expressed deep concern over the frenzied effort of some delegations to repeatedly deviate the Council deliberations regarding from the main objective behind which it was founded which is ending Israel’s occupation of the Arab territories and settling the Arab-Israeli conflict according to the known peace references.
The Syrian Ambassador pointed out that he sent to the UN Secretary General and the Security Council complaints of all the Israeli violations in the form of a number of official letters, the latest of which was on July 17th 2012, which “fell on deaf ears”.
Collusive Approach”of UN General Secretariat Representatives Encourages Israel’s Hostility

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates, Minister Walid al-Moallem, stressed on the importance for the UN officials to be objective and precise in dealing with the situation in Syria; holding the armed terrorists responsible for hindering efforts to halt violence in Syria.
Meeting the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Hervé Ladsous, and the accompanying delegation on Wednesday, al-Moallem reiterated Syria’s commitment to the plan of the UN Special Envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan and its full cooperation with the UN observer mission.
Al-Moallem underscored the importance of the international community’s support to Annan through obtaining cooperation of regional countries which have influence on the terrorist groups, “those countries which instigate, fund and harbor armed terrorist groups and encourage them to reject political work and not to lay down their arms.”
He said that Syria today is in a state of self-defense of its sovereignty and territorial unity, adding that at the same time Syria’s doors are open to those who want dialogue and the political solution. Continue reading →
Insurgents are Washington proxies. Key NATO partners, rogue Arab League states, and Israel are very much involved.
The same dirty game repeats. Independent states are targeted for regime change. All options are used. They include full-scale war, mass killing, and turning nations into charnel houses on the pretext of liberating them.
American-style freedom is slavery. Mainstream discourse doesn’t explain. It repeats long ago discredited notions about humanitarian intervention and responsibility to protect (R2P). Protracted violence and bloodshed hardly reflect it.
Washington-led Western generated violence ravages Syria. On Sunday, The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) declared ongoing conflict a civil war.
It’s not civil when mostly imported proxies are used. Most Syrians deplore violence and oppose internal and external groups committing it.
According to ICRC, Syria is involved in a “non-international armed conflict.” Previous statements said violence occurred only in certain hotspots. “Hostilities have spread to other areas of the country,” said ICRC.
“International humanitarian law applies to all areas where hostilities are taking place.” Continue reading →
Russia on Monday accused Western powers of using blackmail to get its support for possible United Nations Security Council sanctions against the Syrian regime.
“To our great regret, we are witnessing elements of blackmail,” said Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The Russian diplomat further said that “the West has told Russia to either back the measure or it will refuse to extend the mandate of the UN observer mission.”
“Calls for Russia to persuade President Bashar al-Assad to step down are unrealistic as there is a very significant part of the Syrian population behind him,” Lavrov said.
He further stressed that “there is no evidence that the defections are having impact on situation in Syria.”
In a press conference in Moscow, Lavrov said that violence should be stopped by all the Syrian sides.”We oppose any tendencies aimed at toppling the Syrian state and refuse extortion and paving the way for military intervention in Syria.” Continue reading →
