Recently, the Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing regarding the 2001 Authorization for the Use of Military Force, the extremely dubious and un-Constitutional legislation that gave the United States government “legal authority” to use military force against “those who planned, authorized, committed or aided” the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Rather than arresting and executing the dual Israeli-American citizens and other traitors who planned, facilitated, executed, and covered up 9/11, using military force against the criminal terrorist state of Israel, whose agents and assets perpetrated and benefitted from that dastardly act, the United States military launched what has turned out to be an endless war against a faceless, amorphous enemy.

Whoever becomes the next president of the United States this will be the most powerful person in the world. Under the US law, the President has the right to take unilateral decisions on starting a large scale war or conducting local military operations.
“The President in every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces into hostilities” – that is an extract from the War powers resolution passed on November 7, 1973.
Since 1974, the have been more than 50 cases when US Presidents asked for the Congress’ sanction for conducting military operations. The geography of these military operations included the former Yugoslavia, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and other countries.

The drones are multi purpose vehicles, Bruce Fein, the former juridical advisor of Reagan’s administration said in an interview with the “Voice of Russia”. Continue reading →
Democracy Now! broadcasts from Chicago, site of the largest NATO summit in the organization’s six-decade history. On Sunday, veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, as well as members of Afghans For Peace, led a peace march of thousands of people. Iraq Veterans Against the War held a ceremony where nearly 50 veterans discarded their war medals by hurling them down the street in the direction of the NATO summit. We hear the soldiers’ voices as they return their medals one by one from the stage. “I am giving back my global war on terror service medal in solidarity with the people of Iraq and Afghanistan,” said Jason Heard, a former combat medic who spent 10 years in the U.S. Army. “I am deeply sorry for the destruction that we have caused in these countries and around the globe.”
